Eden

Escape. Die. Repeat.

Eden is a 2.5D action roguelite. You play an outlaw locked deep in the dungeons, with one sword and one obsession: climb your way back to freedom. Seven biomes, doors sealed by the souls of the fallen, and a death that always sends you back to the start.

This is an early alpha: content, balance and visuals will keep changing. Your feedback is very welcome!

Features

• Tight melee combat: 3-hit combos, dodge roll, jumps, parrying enemies and elite champions.
• Passive secondary weapons found in chests, stackable and upgradable: orbiting blades, wisp, ember aura, throwing knives, aegis.
• Souls and seals: every exit is sealed. Harvest the souls of fallen enemies to break it and reach the next biome.
• 7 biomes generated from a seed: the Dungeons, the Whispering Forest, the Putrid Marsh, the Burning Dunes, the Frozen Caves, the Volcanic Forge and the Cloud Kingdom.
• Speedrun-friendly: built-in timer, per-biome splits and personal records, plus a fixed-seed mode.
• Daily challenge: the same seed for every player, each day, with online leaderboards (top 100 on playeden.run).
• Available in English, French, German and Spanish.

Platforms

Windows 10/11 (installer), macOS 11+ (Intel and Apple Silicon), Linux x86_64 (AppImage). A Vulkan-capable graphics card is recommended. The builds are not code-signed yet: on Windows click “More info” → “Run anyway”; on macOS right-click Eden → Open the first time.

Eden est un rogue-lite d'action 2.5D : évadez-vous à travers sept biomes en brisant les sceaux grâce aux âmes des vaincus. Combats nerveux, armes secondaires, chronomètre de speedrun, défi du jour et classements en ligne. Le jeu est entièrement traduit en français. Version alpha gratuite.
